Abdul Kareem Luaiby was under Minister confirmed on Tuesday as oil Minister. He run in the elections but Mr Maliki is allied. Mr Luaiby, a senior of oil official of who managed his boss Hussein al-Schahristani, given a new job with more power as Deputy premier for energy.
Parliament approved also Hoshyar Zebari, a member of the Kurdish block to retain his position as Foreign Minister. Rafie al-Issawi, a Sunni-Arab, currently one of the two Deputy Prime Ministers, Minister of finance approved.
Women make up a quarter of the 325-seat Parliament about were largely absent from the Cabinet lineup. A woman Mr. of Maliki's named Cabinet, triggering angry shouts of some during the session on Tuesday against their exclusion in the Government.
The Minister of State for women's Affairs was one of the 10 portfolios filled temporarily - from Mr Zebari, Minister for Foreign Affairs.
