Knysna, Ivory Coast - West Africa Central Bank Laurent Gbagbo's access to Government funds, increased pressure on the man which refuses, concede defeat in the midst of postelection violence, at least 173 people killed and the civil war called truncated fears.
The move by the Central Bank of west African late Thursday is expected to increase pressure on Mr. Gbagbo and complicate his efforts to pay civil servants and soldiers. Allies by his political rival Alassane Ouattara, hope the movement is set the stage for mass departure if people are not paid.
