Tsunami warning follows Japan Quake

Tokyo - a strong earthquake of preliminary magnitude 7.4 in the Pacific Ocean southern Japan who beat trigger a tsunami warning.

Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning from the earthquake, occurred approximately 80.6 miles off the Chichi island in the Pacific Ocean. The offshore earthquake in around characterized early in the morning at a depth of 6.2 km.

The Agency issued a warning for a mild tsunami for the nearby islands.

There was no immediate report of damage or injury.

This is the second Temblor Tuesday in the area known as the "ring of fire," an arc of volcanoes, and fault lines registered wraps the Pacific basin. Earlier Tuesday, reports the US Geological Survey a 5.7 earthquake off the coast in Central Indonesia.
