A loving husband accidentally strangled his wife of almost 40 years while dream he fought a burglar, an inquest heard.

Brian Thomas late was described in the night attack on his wife, Christine as unique tragedy.

He said: ' he shouted: "you bastard" and grabbed the man round the throat. He woke up shake and his arm was Christine.'
